Now that I’m on to the next project[s] I’ll be spending more time time saying HI on here and sharing my processes again. Thanks for joining in and being part of my circle. #ArtLove
Gonna share a fav vides to celebrate my “day-one-post-SPAC morning”. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugV6cLgwomo&feature=player_embedded
It’s probably just me but I like to have my bases covered when i visit somewhere.. creature comforts, as it were. Not all of these are universally appreciated, I know.. but there’s so much handy in this incomplete list.
The College of Biological Sciences Conservatory at the University of Minnesota invites you to experience a rare and very brief event — the blooming of the Amorphophallus titanum, “Corpse Flower.” The notoriously noxious plant, native to Sumatra’s equatorial rain forests, makes a big impression reaching up to six feet tall and emitting a scent often likened to “rotting meat.”
Received the [hopefully] final proof.. need to make some minor adjustments & then green light it in the LMNOP bookshop on Amazon… you can’t see but I’m really excited. 😀 !!!!
[Uber thanks to the International Cartoonist Conspiracy group for the proofreading help.]
***Watch this TPT MNOriginal On The Go video about The International Cartoonist Conspiracy to learn more about this group of supreme creatives, and watch a comic jam happen in action. http://www.mnoriginal.org/2012/04/international-cartoonist-conspiracy-the-minneapolis-chapter/
Recently participated in a ‘shared’ journal [aka traveling journal] sponsored by Clearprint. Bet you can’t guess which one’s mine. Ha. A screen shot w/ link: www.clearprintpaperco.com/#!cross-country/c1oyi
Because Clearprint only intended to publish the right page I’ll share the spread & details that are too small to be seen on the link.
Here’s mine [mini-travel-watercolor kit]. A DIY made from a second-hand cigar case, this is my trusty painting companion for both inside&outside my studio. It’s a one-of-a-kind but the kits I’m creating for friends are comparable to it.
Some folks have asked if I sell these after seeing the one I carry with me.. I’ve started taking requests for my DIY mini-traveling-watercolor-kits.. [Aside: this case is steel, not plastic and will have only Daniel Smith watercolors in it]. Fits wonderfully in a pocket or purse for creativity on the go.
DIY mini-traveling-watercolor-kit for purchase:
Let me know if you’re interested in one too!!
I suggest using a waterbrush with it.. I like the Koi Small.. [no product endorsement/affiliation.. I just like it]
